The beach is approximately 300 mtrs away as are a small number of shops and restaurants. The small shops sell all the basics you need including all local produce. They are convenient and stay open all day every day, some even exchange money. The nearest chemist is approximately 500 mtrs from you in case you forget your headache tablets from partying all night. The village of Theologos is very quiet, with a nice restaurant, a beautiful old church and bakery. The main road run's parallel to the beach front. The beach is very shingly and rocky, it is also very windy witch is ideal for wind surfing and other water sports, not so good for snorkeling as the sea can be a bit rough. This is an ideal spot to explore the island from, there is cheap car hire close by and a bus service, this can be a bit erratic so don't rely on it.
